The legal guarantee pursuant to ยง 437 german law BGB has been 24 months since 1.1.2002.
As a consumer, you have the choice of whether the supplementary performance should be carried out by means of rework or a replacement delivery. However, please bear in mind that we are entitled to refuse the type of the selected subsequent delivery if this is only possible with disproportionate costs and the other type of supplementary performance remains without significant disadvantages for you.
If, however, our attempts to rectify the defect failed or a subsequent delivery could not be possible or only within an unreasonably long time, you can either demand a reduction of the purchase price (so-called reduction) or withdraw from the contract.
WWe also expressly point out that we are not entitled to rescind rights for defects which are minor in the sense of the law.
